All parcels and grapes are vinified separately. A long maceration of about 25 days average enables an optimal extraction of fruit, tannins and color. After blending, the wine aged for 15 months, half in tank with regular micro-oxygenation, and half in 400L neutral oak barrels. This is a blend of 70% Tannat and 30% Cabernet Franc. It shows a dark color with plenty of concentration and a nose of dark fruits with a hint of blueberry. The palate has very approachable tannins for a predominately Tannat wine with another rush of dark fruit and a pleasing acidity.
